Ms. Ferrera was named Chevy Entertainer of the Year, for her work on “Ugly Betty,” which also won awards for best performance by a Latino-led ensemble cast and directing. Special honors also went to the fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez, the singer Linda Ronstadt and the pop star Shakira, who received a Humanitarian Award. Charlie Sheen, Edward James Olmos, Roselyn Sanchez and Judy Reyes also received acting awards. The Black Eyed Peas, the Cheetah Girls, Sergio Mendes, and Cheech & Chong performed, and Eva Longoria Parker served as host at the ceremony, which will be televised on Sept. 12 on ABC.
